Ministry Partners

We are committed to equipping and helping our members to grow in Christ through the various ministries we offer. These ministries also give members of JoshGen the opportunity to get involved and serve within the church by using their various talents and gifts.

Ikhaya Le Themba

Enthused by the concept that it is better to give than to receive, a team of concerned volunteers came together in 2003, to provide home-based care to the terminally and chronically ill in Khayelitsha. This step resulted in the birth of Ikhaya Le Themba, a non-profit organisation whose name in English means, ‘Home of Hope.”

Since then Ikhaya Le Themba has been building, discipling, empowering and caring for the community. This has also provided them with the exciting opportunity to share the good news of Christ and to see countless healings, salvations and lives changed for Jesus.

Ikhaya Le Themba serve the poor in practical ways, which include: a soup kitchen; a HIV support group; home-based care worker training; skills and enterprise development and critical maintenance aid, as well as Bible teaching and worship and interactive fun times with orphans and vulnerable children.

There are many ways to get involved or support this amazing ministry – for more information visit or contact us via email. Alternatively follow us on Facebook.

Timothy Ministry Training

TMT is a one year intensive full-time discipleship program, training men and women for life and ministry. We are based in Wellington at our beautiful Provence venue. As a ministry of JoshGen, we firmly believe in the role of the church to help raise future leaders. Because of this, our training takes place within the context of the local church, with a focus placed on both theology and practice; training and outreach; learning truth and putting it to use.
