This is what's up on this side of the globe... BAMBrazil!... can you say stand up paddling, bus trips, combined worship and more....

I have been overwhelmed by the warmth, hospitality and generosity of the Brazilian people! They have welcomed us 'gringos' into their homes with open arms and open hearts! (and open fridges, but thats a whole 'nother story, Brazilians love to eat, and so do I, so I think we make a good match! The Brazilian hotdog truly is something to behold, and the pizza, and did I mention the 'churrascaria' ??, a Brazilian style steakhouse.)
Anyway, before I get carried away with all the food, God has been doing some amazing things amongst the people of Brazil.

Our first stop was Sao Paulo, a city of 30 million people. We were ministering into two churches in the Par Jesus suburb, with roughly 40 members each. Will Marais preached about the neccesity of spending time 'in the kitchen' and discovering who you are in Christ, making sure we make our relationship with God our first priority and that we are continuously seeking after him.
We saw several people responding to the gospel during our time there and also released a couple, Joe and Monika, onto eldership, which is very exciting!
From Sao Paulo we travelled to Peruíbe, a cute little beach town which reminds me a bit of Muizenberg crossed with Strand crossed with Hermanus.
We were born for such a time as this.
